Hi, I'm Denée.

I built a multi-six-figure freelance business as a Creative Strategist from my childhood bedroom in Toronto. No corporate background. No portfolio. Journalism degree from a school nobody outside Canada has heard of. Got rejected from Columbia's master's program and did a $10/hour internship because it was the only job I could find.

I started charging $1,000 for website copy and thought that was huge money. Then a client asked me to write a paid ad I had no business writing. It worked. She offered me a retainer. Within months I went from $1K projects to $6.6K retainers. Then $10K. Then $30K months as a Creative Strategist.
